    P C Henderson’s Sales and Marketing Director – Andrew Royle – was honoured to present the award for the Top 10 Architects and Developers at the BCI Asia Awards in Jakarta, Indonesia last week.  Invited as a guest of honor by Indonesian distributor – Roda Bangun Mandiri – Andrew was delighted to attend as a way of paying homage to the long term partnership with the company.The BCI Asia Awards aims to recognise leaders within the architectural and building industry across South East Asia. Roda Bangun Mandiri, a long term distributor of P C Henderson, sponsored the Top 10 Architect and Developers Awards and invited Andrew Royle, Sales and Marketing Director, to provide an opening speech and hand out the awards.Bernadus Rizky, Head of Sales and Marketing at Roda Bangun Mandiri commented “As a sliding and folding door hardware provider, we work with a lot of architects and developers who are looking to incorporate our hardware into their designs.     Sliding and folding door hardware manufacturer – P C Henderson – beat off national competition on Thursday night to be named Export Business of the Year at the British Chamber Awards.After winning the regional finals of the North East Business Awards back in April – the company was selected by the North East England Chamber of Commerce to represent the region at the national finals. The firm didn’t disappoint - beating off 8 other companies in its category, after a rigorous judging process, to be named the best exporting company in the UK.Trevor Cossins, Managing Director at P C Henderson commented, “Exporting on the scale that we do isn’t easy - it takes a huge amount of dedication. We’ve listened to our customers first hand and transferred this knowledge into developing products that suit specific market requirements. To be named the best exporting company in the UK is recognition of the highest kind and we couldn’t be happier”.Held at Tobacco Dock, London – the 15th Annual British Chamber Awards welcomed over 70 companies from all corners of the UK to battle it out across 14 award categories. Hosted by TV presenter Jenni Falconer and headline sponsored by Facebook, the awards are viewed as one of the most contested and prestigious awards programmes in the UK.The hotly contested Export Award aims to shine a spotlight on companies that have generated substantial success in international trade. Chief Executive of North East England Chamber of Commerce, James Ramsbotham, commented; “We are delighted one of our members has received such a tremendous accolade and in particular for this international trade category.“The Chamber was established by businesses to support each other’s desire to expand their marketplaces overseas and P C Henderson are a great example of this same ambition today.     Last week P C Henderson was visited by James Ramsbotham (CEO), Charlotte Johns (Marketing Manager) and Bethan McCoy (Marketing Assistant) from the North East England Chamber of Commerce to be presented with our winner’s certificate for the North East Business Awards.After being crowned the regional winner of the Export Award back in April, we are delighted to have now been shortlisted as a finalist for the British Chamber Awards which is due to take place next month.The prestigious awards Gala dinner, held in London, will see PC Henderson compete against eight other companies for the prestigious title of ‘UK Export Business of the Year’.The Export Award aims to recognise companies who show exporting excellence and a substantial success in international trade.We can’t wait for the national finals next month!

    P C Henderson has been announced as a finalist in this year’s British Chamber Awards as we have once again been recognised for our exporting achievements! We will now go on to compete head to head against eight other companies to be given the coveted title of UK Export Business of the Year at one of the most high profile award programmes in the UK.The success comes after we impressed judges and were crowned winner of the Export Award at the North East of England Business Awards back in April.  We have now gone onto to be chosen by the North East England Chamber of Commerce, against hundreds of entries, to represent the region at the National Awards.Over 70 of the most successful businesses in the UK will battle it out across 9 key awards categories at a prestigious awards Gala Dinner held at Tobacco Dock in London on 29th November. One company will also have the privilege to be crowned Business of the Year and will have the honour of opening the London Stock Exchange when next year’s programme is opened in March 2019.Commenting on our latest success, Trevor Cossins, Managing Director, commented, “The British Chamber Awards is one of the most contested and prestigious award programmes in the UK.     At P C Henderson, we are celebrating major success after being crowned the winner of the Export Award at the North East Business Awards Grand Final last night.Shortlisted against two other leading companies from the region, we were put before a panel of judges before being announced as the winner at a prestigious award dinner held at Hardwick Hall in Sedgefield.  After winning the regional heats last month and being awarded SME Exporter of the Year at last year’s North East Exporters Awards, we are now onto a hat-trick of awards for our exporting achievements.Organised by the North East Chamber of Commerce, the awards evening is the biggest and best of its kind in the UK and aims to celebrate the achievements of some of the region’s most successful and innovative businesses. Attended by over 500 people from 40 leading North East businesses, a total of 13 awards were given out on the evening across a variety of categories.Trevor Cossins, Managing Director at P C Henderson commented on the good news: “Exporting on the scale that we do isn’t easy, it takes a lot of hard work from a dedicated and passionate team – which we’re lucky enough to have. To be presented with three awards in the past year for our exporting achievements is a huge achievement for us and something we’re immensely proud of.     We are delighted to announce that last night we were crowned the winner in the Export category at this years’ North East Business Awards - Durham, Sunderland and South Tyneside region!Shortlisted against two other leading companies from the region, we went through two rounds of judging before being announced as the winner at a prestigious awards dinner held at Ramside Hall in Durham.The awards, held in association with the North East England Chamber of Commerce, is the biggest of its kind in the UK and aims to celebrate successful and innovative businesses achieving fantastic things in the North East of England. Attended by over 400 people, a total of 12 awards were given out on the evening across a variety of categories. P C Henderson will now go on to compete against the winners of the Northumberland and Teesside heats in order to win the overall Export Award for the North East of England.Commenting on the good news, Trevor Cossins, Managing Director at P C Henderson, said: “We are delighted to be once again be recognised for our exporting achievements. Taking a tailored and localised approach to each specific market has allowed us to significantly grow and sustain the exporting side of the business.
